Hey everyone, thought I'd better post an introduction. My name's andrew but my mates call me Lorby. I just picked up my first motorcycle on Saturday.

A 1987 GPX250. Pretty good nick, didn't make any bad noises and was cheap, so I'm happy







Please ignore the betty boop stickers, they're gone now

The bike is currently naked though. I'll leave the fairings off till I'm a little bit more confident on the bike, wouldn't want to drop them .

I learnt on an old '89 GPX250 - pretty much the same as yours.
Was a blast and ran rings around much bigger bikes - you'll have fun.

Many will be down south at PI for the supers this weekend, but a few will likely be out.

damn thats a fine gpx, just like mine and same year aswell, the old girl wont let you down. and another westy aswelll cool.
But it looks like ive seen you on the greatwestern a couple of days ago maybe or maybe someone else. anyway welcome dude have fun and hope to see another gpx250 on the old road one sunday!!

Nah wasn't me, I haven't even ridden it yet . Dad's been riding it to work, but not on the gw .
