New In Here, Older Out There

Post by Leigh »

G'day you lot.

I, as you may have gathered, am Leigh.

I've recently picked up a '98 ZX9 after I shortened my Suzuki by using a Honda CRV.
I'm pretty happy with it, it rides well, turns corners and stuff.
You know, the usual good things that bikes do.

Well, I was happy until the roadworthy report came back today..
Jeez, the bloke who wrote it up must have got a knockback from the missus this morning.
Everything from a too-much-freeway-use front tyre to the rear indicators being too close together. (280mm instead of the required 300mm).
The one good thing is that he didn't put it into the system, so I can take my time doing the bits.

Anyways, enough of the whinging..

Aww go easy, Smitty. I loved that fat old blobby bike ('01 GSXF)
I put just under 50K on it in the last 4 years without a dilemma and would still be on it if it wasn't for a momentary lapse of brain.

..and thank you, Ladies, for the welcome.

I just saw the Intro section above this bit.
Have I done it in the wrong spot?

Was that there this morning?

G'day mate.
Yeah, the hand is still a little tender every now and then.
I'll turn it or lift something and I get a shot into the wrist.
Still I haven't exactly kept it wrapped or iced.
