Withdrawal Symptoms!!

Bloody hell.............I miss riding my bike!!! The last 12 months have afforded limited opportunities to get out on the bike. I think I have done about 2500klms in the last year!!!! that's like 5% of what I usually do!!! Faaark!!! No wonder I'm having withdrawals!!! I rely on my bike to assist in reducing the stress levels of my sometimes hectic work schedule. Not having this outlet not only causes me more stress, as all that is on my mind is getting out for a ride, but also allows the work stress to creep up and bite you!!! I am finding myself with perhaps a little less patience with people inadaquacies lately!!!

As an aside, I found some crap in an Emulsion tube, thought this was the issue. But just in case, I had a little look over of the carbs. I found a hole in No1's diaphragm. Have one on order, hopefully will be here Monday. Might have my bike ready for the supers run with any luck!!! Fingers crossed. Mind you, the bloody diaphragms are not cheap!!! :x I might have to borrow Dangerous dave's R1 engined FZ1 if I can't get mine going in time.

Strika, I am right with you. Try having a new bike that you have only been able to ride once, and that one time in great pain. I have only ridden once since I injured my ankle in December, and I am pining! I go out to the garage and sit on Z'ev, experimentally change gears, and try to get him up off the side stand, but I know that I will barely get down to the main road if I were to tak ehim out. It's enough to make a girl cry!

I hear ya. I have no bike and am too injured to ride at the moment even if I had one. It's driving me new_Eyecrazy.gif At least you have the bike for when your ankle is better (which I hope is soon) so there will be no delay as soon as you are up to it.
