Hey guys,
been a few days since i last posted but that is because i did a farken hard slog of a ride!
Yes, i did Hobart all the way to the Sunshine coast and what a journey it was indeed!
Had a few problems along the way and the Z has certainly taken a bit of a beating, with fenders breaking, rear tyre down to the wire, chain has made dead links but all minor things that can be easily replaced! otherwise bike absolutely cruise along!
When off the major highways sat on quite a decent speed and covered some good ground. I wanted to stop every 100-150km's just to refuel, just in case! Plus gave me a chance to slam down some more water and stand up as my arse was getting farken sore!
Through country Victoria it was like Hell, the sky was red and there was smoke for hundred's of KM's. I wasnt held up at any stage just a clear run the whole way!
Ended up making it to the Mudgee and stayed hte night, i would have continued on to Moree, but after 6pm most servo's in those little towns shut which would have caused me a whole bunch of problems.
So Second day i completed the journey. I timed myself and worked out it took about 25 Hours to ride the entire journey. I wore my Full Alpinestars Leathers and farken hell in the country places where it was mega hot i was leaking!!!!!!
Overall glad its over because the ride got harder and harder but it was an experience and happy to be in QLD now!!
