I'm fine.

On my way back from the City, i was changing lanes on liverpool street and a second later a brand new black Commodore SV6 decided to come into my lane and hit me side on

I managed to keep the bike upright, but his front end/ wheel hit my right knee and parts of my bike.

I think he hit the metal plate on my knee, cos it's fine

Now i have to wait for the insurance company's to fight it out and work out who's at fault. I do have a witness and i'm sure he is at fault, so we will have to wait and see.

If i get unlucky with the verdict i think i might not fix it as its not that bad, but i'm sure its going to be more than my excess

Anyway. I hope 2009 gets better from here on

same sorta thing happened with me and snapped my peg!!!! always a scary thing and a few times before it happened to me cars have tried to merge even though i was there and i know a few have seen me and still done it!!!! i hope it works out for ya sucks having your beast getting damaged when it can be easily avoided and the best news is you came away unscathed!!!

what damage was done to the bike. As long as you were in your lane then you should not be at fault unless his lane was ending then you need to give way.
