Yes its true.

In the last couple of days I have been contacted by, and been in discussion with, a representative of Kawasaki Australia.
They are very supportive of KSRC and what we are doing, so supportive in fact, that they have offered to donate a number of Kawasaki merchandise items to us, (and some expensive ones at that.!) .

They have been reading the site and although not happy about the amount of criticism we have been aiming at them, understand our comments and have taken them onboard.

and don't worry, we have not entered into any "arrangements" and the forum will remain as open and indifferent to outside influences as it always has been.

What it does mean is that Kawasaki obviously appreciate what we are doing and want to give something back, and that should be congratulated.

I know you all want to know what they have donated, all will be revealed in due time..

Get yourselves to the P.I. World Superbikes in Feb / March for your chance to get something.!!!

Thats good news Dave....Did you get a chance to speek to them about a link on their Aussie site?

And is there any chance of maybe a raffle for the people who can't make it to supers to get a chance at something.Would give ya some extra funds for upkeep etc aswell....

Great stuff mate.

I think most of the times on here when someone has had a spray about service etc then it would probably be pretty good feedback for Kawasaki. Not something they'd put on their own website certainly but it gives them a chance to respond.

Hopefully PI is not the only chance to get something

Most importantly, can you elaborate further on what they mean by taking our coments on board? And what do we/they see in terms of a long term relationship if any?

If all goes to plan, there will be other events that we will have merchandise for.

We will also be saving some those than cannot attend and for the Aus supers at Eastern Creek for example..

The World Supers is an event that KSRC members have been attending, in large numbers, for a number of years. It has members from all over Aus there and is the best place to show our support for the Kawasaki team, and therefore the best place to "do something" with the donated items.

It is also somewhere that we help promote Kawasaki and therefore we are giving something back.

SO GET DOWN THERE.!!!
