Well on my ride home today i was doing 120 in a 70 zone on the Hume Hwy in Chullora.

Radar caught me, so i said oh well im fucked now... nothing i can do but take it like a man...

Heres the thing... im an L plater doing 120 in a 70 zone and i got a $1648 fine for 45km/h+ over the limit and a $168 fine for no fucking L plates... I HATE THE DAMN THINGS THEY KEEP FLYING OFF!!!!

and also 6 month suspension on my licence. thankyou very fucking much NSW... you shall recieve your money in 1 month ( i hope) thats if i can make 2 grand soon... i might have to sell the bike lets hope it doesnt come to that.

Sorry for your loss, but 120 in a 70 FMD and during a double demerits consider this a wake up call.

Any way merry xmas at least you will be alive to see this one.
P.S. The "L" plates have been falling off for the last 30 years and the government has made a quadrillion $$ just from this offence

dude, I really feel for you mate, but all in all your a young pup and will bounce back, keep your chin up matey it's not the end of the world, we'll still be around in 6 months and youll be back on the bike in 09'..

I hasten to add there are no doubt a few of us (cough) that have done similar things and lost their licences when they were around your age..

when I was a young pup I did a very similar thing, it was hard at the time but time passes..

yeah if no one "lost an eye", it'll soon be a memory.

Trackie in the mean time, & may i suggest a "scotts oiler full of Valium" for when ya get your licence back. You sorta blew that one out of the water champ.

You might wanna borrow Hoffy's avatar for 6 months $1648 fine is damn rich though, that being said, it's the Hume Highway, not some back road in outback NSW and dunno about NSW but ehre in Vic they're advertising like hell that the road is gonna be full of coppers.. you might wanna hope you haven't triggered a speed camera as then you'll get another christmas present (belated) in the mail.

The Hume is probably not the best place to be trying for land speed records!! Thats a nasty way to start the new year mate, sorry to hear it.

You could always try appealing it if it's your first offence, although i wouldn't be too confident of a reduction considering the speed you were travelling!

i got done near there , it was the camera just after stacey st heading towards yagoona,
82 in a 60 zone was not happy but whats done is done.

either way it really sux having to ride the pushy around for six months
but youll live and be wiser for it in six months time.
