Christmassing up your bike

Ok, for those of you out there that get into the habit of christmasafying your bike here is a chance for you to show off your creative streak to the rest of the forum. No photos yet (but im hoping i can fix that tomorrow) but have gone and done something which i think is pretty cool, which is to fit one of
these reindeer car kits to my bike.
They are designed to have the antlers secured through the windows and the nose wired to the front of the car, however i don't really have windows and there's not really much of a spot to fit the nose onto the front. Thus far i have snapped off the window mounts from the antlers and zip tied them to the mirrors securely enough that they don't get in the way of me seeing what's behind me (and it doesn't impact much on lanesplitting if installed correctly either!). I still have to work out how to mount the nose and hopefully can get it sorted out tomorrow.
In the meantime, what've you guys done?

They are just copying off me!
Been doing this for years.
I saw a police bike today all decked out in tinsel with reindeer antlers on the mirrors- so cool!

Very nice!! though i considered tinsel, the biggest thing against it for me was that i thought it'd flick about like mad and start to get really annoying (when i put pink ribbons all over my bike for the pink ribbon ride it drove me nuts on the freeways).
Glad to hear im not the only one who's seen the potential with those reindeer antlers though.

No Mike, we are not the only lovers of reindeer antlers. We are however an elite and select group!
As I said in another thread- my favourite part is the reaction of other road users, it certainly makes you more visible! (I think those gorgeous fluoro vests should be replaced by tinsel and horns!) I love riding to work getting honks and waves and smiles, especially when I see the kids faces. I feel like for a while I am changing the stereotypical mindset that a lot of people have of motorcyclists too. Spreading the love.
I may have mentioned in another thread about the cop bike I saw the other day, all decked out in tinsel with antlers on his mirrors. I wanted to speed just so he could catch me!
Easter time is fun too- bunny ears, little white tail, bow tie- all I need are some white leathers
Oh, and State of Origin is great (Ron, don't you agree??

) My beautiful BM gets all decked out in Maroon.
Almost turned my helmet into a pumpkin at Halloween, but there is a limit to how far I'll go!

Reaction indeed, i went to the cafe in the foyer at work and mentioned the car kits just in general to one of the girls that works there (she has a trumpy) and she said "oh someone else told me there's someone who's put antlers on his bike parked downstairs" i thought "yeah, i... shit, thats my bike!". Told one of the other guys and he wants to go get one of the kits this weekend for his kle500.
I definitely started thinking about the high visibility factor as i fitted them too... Unfortunately i haven't ridden about much during the day, just to & from work really early & late in the day (no one has a sense of humor at 6:30am).
easter bunny, pumpkin? perhaps you should float a couple of ideas past T

That is so cool Mike!
I went on a big ride with a friend yesterday- he tinseled up his bike for me too. We got so many waves and smiles- it was a hoot!
