I wouldn't put another qualifier on my bike if it was the last tyre on the planet - they suck big ones.

If I could afford it and never rode in the wet I'd run Pilot race - love em. Will probably try either Pilot Power or Power road II next time. Probably PR2 as a spend some time on the freeway.

Looks like underflation issue more than anything else going by the pics/ scalloping Ponti

ie under 20psi with a full gearsack /pillion and a few miles on the highway will do it

I thought my qualifiers were fine until I tried something different... then I realised how crappy they were, I would never buy them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone either, they suck.

dunlops suck, i woudnt recommend them to anyone. They last long but grip both on dry or wet conditions is poor.

not the only one mate, I thought the Dunlop Q's were a pretty good tyre as well. I was not a big fan of the OEM 208's on the MFP12 back in '05.......but the last set of Dunny Q's I had were fine, and gripped OK for my sedate riding style.... ;)

I have always been a bit of a Dunlop fan, especially the GPR70 on the back of the hybrid - which has now done 5 track days, was 4 years old when I bought the mag wheels 3 years ago..... - and a few people here have seen the hybrid on the track, it was not lacking in grip *at all*.

A set of Dunlop Roadsmarts will be the next matched set on the 12. Quite looking forward to seeing how they go.

Well i am quite happy with the roadsmarts on the nine, but found if ya push the front a bit you will wear it out well before the rear tyre.Thats probably not a bad thing as its doing its job.I get about 5-6000 out of the front and 8-8500 out of the rear ;)
