I have noticed over the last few months that some members of the forum give names to their bikes - I've never named any of the bikes I've owned ( although I have called some of them some very uncomplimentary names when they have let me down ).

So -
1. why do you name your bike ?
2. what have you named them and the reason for the name ?

i was talking to zx6rider and bron before a quick ride once and mentioned i might have to start calling my zx7r "fungus" (due mainly to its current, less than impressive paint job)

My bike is called Elvis - the blue suade 6R

And yes, I also have a name for my shlong,

the ninja 250 was sienna, and the new ZX6R is Alice...

The new zzr12 is Merlin.
The old XJR was Betty
