Another 2 wheels on the road

Well, the elder son (Matt) has got his Ls, and we've hit the road together. Test last Tuesday, 1st ride on Wednesday (Christmas Hills to Yarra Glen), 2nd ride on Friday (Christmas Hills and the Chum Creek Road - pissing down), 3rd ride today (Christmas Hills to Myers Creek Road, Yea and Kinglake, but not the Kinglake Road yet). Matt on the FZR250 ("goes like shit off a shovel" comes to mind), Mum on the CBR600F and me and the trusty GPz1100...and Mike across the road on the GSX1400. That'd be one of each of the big 4 japs.
A great day, and the interesting thing is, Matt's a really sedate driver in his Subaru, because he knows nothing short of a Bugatti will beat a decent bike, so why bother? He's a pretty good rider (Ice Hockey is great training), plus he's already had an off as a pillion (broke my collarbone when he landed on me).
The deal was that we'd help him with the bike, if he'd ride with us on his Ls for experience... so looks like we might be riding a bit. Damn shame
