Hey guys,
Hope everyone is doing well

I'm going to upgrade from my beautiful/reliable ZZR-250 to something else probably in the 600's range.
I don't have my mind set on any bike yet but i'm quiet sure it's definitely going to be a Kawi

The options that i know about are :
Er-6n,Er-6f, zzr600 or maybe even a ZX6-R..
My budget will be around 8000-8500
I commute to work everyday and in any weather so i need something reliable i guess ...
Any suggestions please?

Have you considered the ZX10 ?
Or a slightly used ER6-n ? And, no I won't accept $50 posted !

Hey 6maniac, how is it goin?
Do you ride your bike under the rain? the Er6-n is a bit naked and not sure if that would affect it under rain.
I'm really leaning towards a zzr600...

G'day Paul, yeah always ridden rain, hail or shine. Get yourself the best rainsuit/gloves/boots you can afford if your bike is used for commuting. My ER has the factory fly screen - keeps some rain off. Can't go wrong with the ZZR - check it out with others on here that have them. Cheers, Ron.

Thats an understatement! its Max fun canyon carving
Paul there are lots of bikes in the 600 - 750 range within your budget, it sounds like you might have to do a lot of test riding & see what grabs ya

Hey
Newbie to KSRC here, I am also looking to upgrade my 250 next year, I read an article about the new Kawasaki 600 being developed. Apparently they have taken 10kg off and changed the frame structure a bit. I could use some advice too.

Bad news
I can't upgrade due to P plate power to ratio restrictions. I was thinking i won't have any restrictions since i have an overseas license but the RTA said that since i am registered on their systems, my current P plate license takes priority over my overseas full License... what a bunch of crap ...
Anyways, i guess my little zzr250 will have to do for now
