Some new footage from the MFP12.

There should be an option to watch this video in 'high-quality' underneath the screen.....

If not, and if anyone out there knows the trick to uploading videos to UBoob in better quality than the rubbish they normally show.....can ya let me know how its done ? Some of my vids seem to have this option, others don't.....it shits me. The quality of the original tape is really good....

Anyway, here is a 9 minute clip of parts of one of the local loops......

Not bad for an old dunger eh? It's surprised a few people in the twisties, it just struggles in the straights.

its normally mounted like this....

Image

and that position is how the video from Wakefield Park was done.

For that ride the other day, all I did was mount it (using the standard mount) under the RH wing on the fairing of the MFP12. It sits low enough - I don't think I could do a track day with it in that position.....

Aardie - I'll do my best mate ... ;) (editing is a wonderful thing..)

There will be a few more of these over the summer, and by next year I should be set up with a twin-cam setup on the 12, one forward facing 550-line camera (its the ducks guts), and the current 350-line camera under the ducktail facing backwards....

Owen - didn't you know that just about anything produced after 2001 is not actually classified as *music* ??

My shitty connection has enough trouble streaming the low quality. I can't face 9 minutes of stream - stop- loading ... ... ... stream ...

so I downloaded it. :D

ps. I could handle a bit more Creedence. ;)

wind noise can be a big problem. It was on the hybrid when I did the Winton/Broadford double back in August. The mic is just taped to the frame under the seat on the hybrid.......

On the 12, I use the tie-clip to position the mic right up under the tailpiece, so the mic is actually well out of any breeze. Because the 12 has a good note ;) , the little mic pics it up well. If it was a bit quieter, then the mic would need to be a bit closer to the zorst.

On the trackbike, I am going to try mounting the mic in a small length of 20mm PVC tubing, so only the end of the mic can be seen.....this *should* cut down on all the wind-noise.......fingers crossed.

Daisy - I promise more CCR on the next video !! :D

Would've thought that was where wind noise was at its worst Cecil B. De Gos
