bloody pissed off... as I haven't ridden a whole lot since my prang, was going on a ride up to Bendigo this morning with some boys. Get all excited, get kitted up, get the bike out, warm it up, get on, go to pull the clutch in and WHAM... nothing... broken cable... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
christ i am annoyed. One of the few times i was getting on without being too nervous and this happens..
OK, just had to get that off my chest. Now to get it fixed!!! It was only in there yesterday getting a new tyre, why didn't it happen there????
Cheers
Lisa

Can you believe there's not a place in melbourne, OK, well near me and the city which has a clutch cable for my bike. So now I need to wait until Tuesday to get it at PS. I got this little groovy thing to fix it up in the mean time, but it wouldn't work because I couldn't get the cable out enough due to it being frayed.
Anyway, so it's back under the cover and will wait until the new cable arrives, then get someone over to help put it on..
I guess I will just have a few beers and watch the races now...
enjoy your rides today, bastards!!!
cheers
Lisa

LOL
My friends in Ireland say that all the time. Can't believe they found 4 chicks, single (well we all were at the time, only two of us left), like beer, football, horse racing and now for me, motorbikes. Being originally from the country, if you're not into sport or drinking, you're considered a bit of a dork!
Anyway, I am doing just that, few beers and the races!

Well I can't work out this new fandangled surround sound, so the sound is working in the lounge room, but the two tv's out here hooked up to the video senders aren't working. Picture but no sound.
So im watching but can't hear.

God, I don't know what i'd have done had it happen half way to bendigo or something. Though I am in RACV total care, they'd pick it up for me. I can't believe though, I was one "pull in of the clutch" away, it could have happened at the bloody bike shop yesterday! Though, in saying that, they don't have the cable, and neither do half of friggen melbourne, so it would be there still anyway. I'm just hoping some of my bikie mates will come and install the new cable for me. Though it does look easy.
Cheers, as I down another!!!

Hey Lisa, If your ever headed to Bendigo and you are happy to have an extra tag along, give us a yell, I'll take you around all of the twisty roads around here, That should only take about 5 min

We were going up to a swap meet today. A few of us old farts were going up, but of course for me, the rest is history!!!...
After a memorial ride up Mt Macedon last sunday, we went for a spin to Kyneton and then back home the back way. Not many twisties, but it was a nice leisurely ride. I don't really care for the twisties (yeah im odd i know) so long as i enjoy the company and the ride, I will go anywhere.
I originally come from about an hour north of Bendigo, and that's as flat and straight as they come. Though if you go through to St Arnaud to Ballarat that way it isn't as bad.
