I have been asked, what is the meaning of the term girlfriend. I thought I would post this up, for those who didn't know or understand the term.

girlfriend was used in the movie MAD MAX and refers to the bikers by the police (MFP... Main Force Patrol)
The quote was "see ya on the road girlfriend, see you on the road, like we sore the Night Rider".
So if Hoffy or somebody... well Hoffy says, see ya on the road girlfriend, this is what he is referring to. He will see you out there somewhere.


If anybody has anymore info on this matter.... GOS, then please enlighten us some more.

I know about the Mad Max girlfriend (think I am older than Gos .. )

but as an ol'time IT person the word girlfriend also means ...to destroy or be the destroyer of something
..especially data or programming info
