Kawasaki dissapointment at expo

I can't help but be a little dissapointed at kawasaki's showing at the melb. bike expo. was anyone here involved?

The set-up seemed a little bare compared to the other jap manufactures areas (it was also one of the smallest floorspace wise). They had the bikes spread out over the area with a couple on stands. They had no "merchandise" of any sort that i noticed and some of the info was printed out like it was straight off of a computer. My other younger brother (not the promo girl harasser) had the job of collecting as much free shit as possible and when we got home and went to sit down and browse the kawasaki product catalogue he got, we discovered it was not even the current stock. It had the old model (up to 2007) zx10r in it for christs sake!

i thought they might have had some sort of "special edition" bike or race replica. nothing. did anyone else notice this?

Same old, same old I'm afraid mate. Every year at the motorcycle show, the GP expo, etc it's always the same. Hell, a couple of years ago Kawasaki didn't even attend the WSBK expo at PI. Piss poor effort, but one we've come to expect.

Thank fark they make good bikes, 'cause they do fuck all to promote them.

seems a shame that kawasaki cant get excited about their own products... sure there are other bikes i lust after, but i can't imagine that kawasaki sells a bike that i wouldnt like to own... sports, tourer, naked, big, small, powerful, modest...
oh and all the best people ride them... ;)

i reckon they should adopt the Kuda as there logo.

instead of the "nod" between bikers, kawasaki should give fellow kawasaki's the kuda 8)

maybe i should write to KHI with me suggestion, the kuda could become the world wide hand signal for kawasaki
