Is it just me, or do others (especially ZZR600 owners) have trouble putting the seat back on the bike when you take it off?
I had to strap a poster roll to my ventura rack this arvo and no kidding it must have taken me 15 minutes to get the seat back on!!
What's the trick?

Towards the front of the seat, on the underside, there's that plastic hooky bit that fits into the big metal loop directly in front of the tank.
I line that hooky bit up first, and give it shove, kinda down and forward at the same time, and generally snaps in first go.
You can't put much under there though, so make sure there's nothing blocking it from sitting flush
Hope that makes sense! Don't you love my technical terminology???

Don't take the seat of a Honda, its a structural member..lol..., it was cheaper than making a complete frame.

I've finally got the hang of putting my seat back on - only taken a few months of doing it every day
I found that if I tried to hook the front hook first with the seat tilted up it just didn't want to go on. The way I found works for me is to sit the seat in place flat - just slightly backwards and it will easily slide forwards and click down into place... Don't know if that makes any sense or not
Cheers,
Russell.
