Ninja 250R Tops Highest Selling Road Bike List
From Kawasaki Australia
It’s official! The Kawasaki Ninja 250R was the highest selling road bike in Australia from January-September 2008. The bike that packs big bike styling into a really small package- the Ninja 250R, also helped Kawasaki to post the biggest growth of any Japanese manufacturer during the same period according to the recently released Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries report.
Since its release in March this year, Kawasaki has worked hard to try and satisfy the demand for the Ninja 250R. Currently every single 2009 Model unit coming into the country goes straight to a new home indicating that demand for the Model is not subsiding.
The Ninja 250R boasts the entire package. With features like its Ninja ZX-10R inspired full fairing, 17 inch wheels with low profile tyres, large petal disc brakes, sports tuned suspension, upswept chrome muffler and easy to use power from its 249cm3 engine, it’s not hard to see why the Ninja 250R has proved such a success in 2008.
Kawasaki Australia MD, Ted Mori says, “We are extremely happy with the manner in which the Australian public has embraced the Kawasaki Ninja 250R in 2008. With so many great features including its low seat height, great fuel economy, and LAMS approval, it’s no surprise that the Kawasaki Model has proved so popular, especially during these economically unstable times.”
The 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250R is now available in Kawasaki Dealerships across Australia. It is available in Lime Green, Candy Thunder Blue or Metallic Diablo Black for the RRP of $6,990.
