This weekend I will be racing in my second national race meeting, at Eastern Creek in Sydney. Chrome and Gold R6 in Superstock, number 61.

I have never been to Eastern Creek, so this will be more of a fun event for me rather than focussing on any potential result. This is another way of saying I will probably be floundering around at the back of the pack looking lost and bewildered. I was planning on a practice day a week or two ago, but, well, I didn't make it, because the van caught fire not long after I left for Sydney. Anyway, no major damage, just an electrical fire, but it was enough to stop me completing the journey. So this time I have organised for the bike to go on a truck and I am flying down.

If anyone from here is heading out, make sure you come and say hi.

Hey - Any chance we can organise a bit of a catch up on the Sunday night after the event? I am staying at a motel in fabulous Rooty Hill, and most of the other racers will be going to the presentation dinner, but I will not, since I already have all the trophies I am likely to win in this year's ASC. So I figure if some of you are up for a KSRC get together it could be a good thing, especially since most of you have to work on Monday and I do not...

I don't know if I will have access to the net after tomorrow morning, but Mr Kaw has my number and if anyone else wants it let me know.

After your last race on Sunday, come up the hill at turn 2 to 4. .

Might be able to come over to the Rooty Hill RSL but as I'll have the wife and kids in tow I won't be able to hang around too long.

I am happy to meet up elsewhere Sunday night too if that is what works for others, I dunno anything about Syderney. I don't haver transport but can cab it or whatever....

Hey Hemi, there is only one other problem I can see with your bike other than it's a Yamaha...... there are no KSRC stickers on it anwhere, I mean whats going on mate???

EC is cool and really simple
step 1 = dont back off for turn one!!!!!!!!!!!!
step 2 = break like hell for turn two!!!!!!!!!!!!
step 3 = now for the rest of the track just turn left!!!!!!!!!!!!
