Ah yes the old Yahoo club and my old zx7r site..
The zx7r site was still there until a about a year ago. It was a free hosted one that was taken over by superbikeclub and they closed all the free sites down without notice, so I lost it all. It had 12 odd pages of zx7r pics I was hosting for the zx7r site..
and thats the addy for the orig Yahoo Club, which was taken over by Yahoo Groups and then we moved here.
The first page of the Yahoo group is still there..
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/KSRC/messages/1
See who's still here..
We lost all the orig stuff from the Yahoo Club .
Good find, and shows ppl how long we have been around.
I think I started it in late 99 or early 2000..

Just had the 250 in for its 1000 km service. Now I find when it idles under
choke when cold, it gradually dies in the arse, and requires manual intervention
in the form of blipping the throttle. Eventually most of the time it stalls, and
needs restarting a few times.
This didn't happen before the service, the normal GPX over-revving under initial
starting was all that I encountered. This was countered by closing the choke
slightly, then it was fine in a couple of minutes. Now you have to stand next to
the bike and basically do the choke's job by yourself.
Also, I park the bike nose-in to the house, and have to reverse out. It seems
they have tightened the steering bearings, and as I turn the handlebars to the
extreme right there is a low-pitched squeak coming from somewhere in the
bearing.
Worth taking back to the shop?

Ahhh, the mighty GPX in October 2001

.
I increased the idle and it all went away as far as I recall once it had done another 500km or so. By the time I traded the old girl in she had done 11,000km and still looked brand spankers.
