My Regular weekend ride, by ZX6Rider

Hi All
I live in Victoria and I ride Every Weekend... Us regular riding Vics are a not a dying breed and I am here to prove it.
A few of the guys where I work have got bikes so we spread the word around that we would head out this Saturday, we were set to meet at 11.30am in Harcourt south of Bendigo, arrived there right on time and one of the guys was already waiting, we waited for another 20min and no one else turned up so we thought we would hit the road.
We headed south toward Kyneton on the Calder freeway, turned off at Carlshrue and then toward Lancefield. The day was overcast but quite mild, the air clean and fresh, gotta love riding in the spring!!! Stopped at Lancefield and had a chat, took a pic (another of many already!) of the bike and thought we would head across to Kilmore and then on to Broadford, struck a patch of rain on the west side of Kilmore, but it was barely enough to dampen the road.
Stopped at a lookout on the Broadford Flowerdale road overlooking the Strath Valley and the small town of Strath Creek, (see pic).
Heading down the hill there was about 1.5km of twistys, thought I would give the 6 a bit or a squirt around a couple of corners and had the rear end hang out a little, the Dunlop Sportmax's arent that sticky, could be looking at a set of Bridgestones or Michelins next i think.
From Strath Creek we headed toward the Golbourn Valley Highway and then to Seymour, Stopped in Seymour for fuel got a drink and headed back toward Heathcote, then to Redesdale, then back toward Harcourt and Finally Bendigo.
Travelled about 300km all up, had a great day, and will probably being doing it all again next weekend.
Hope I havent bored you all, but I thought I might make this a bit of a regular posting for those who might like to read about my trips around Vic.
