woo hoo!!! a convert!!!!
i can vouch for bt45s too... flogged them round the track yesterday... rear is good but front is looking very second hand!!!
but i have no incidents on the track or on the road with them... fair chance i'll put a new set on sometime before the end of the year...

Old, mid size Kwaka fours are awesome.

They sure handle better than the other japs of the same era.

I gotta vouch for the BT45's ... they've given me a whole new sense of confidence on my old girl ...
Although .... I must say the front is already showing signs of scalloping ... and shes only done about 800 k's?
Is this normal????

Did that last Christmas when the 1100 was in for repairs, leaving Mrs Tree's ZZR 250 the only available outlet. I had an absolute ball that day and got rid of a lot of that pesky rubber on the edges that Mrs Tree never uses!

mine are scalloping now but ive done 7,700kays and a track day... the track day has scalloped them bad... i might try a different bridgey front with a BT45 rear for my next set of hoops...
but they seem to be good in wet and dry conditions and have never let go even when pushing the front hard

did the old pacific highway on girlfriends 88 gpx250
Great fun. theres nothing better than outriding the bike youre on.
one of the best moments was near mooney mooney 6th gear throttle pinned flat against the tank
doing what the zx12 easily does in 2nd.
or trying to hold corner speed because it doesnt accelarate out of the corners.
