thats an interesting concept.......Whose up for paying $200 a day for the 'Club' circuit of 1700m ??? Its shorter than Wakefield !!

But the 'International' track looks good.......of course a track day on this circuit will probably be up over $300 for a weekend....

A long straight into a sharp right hand first corner doesn't look too inviting.!!..

They should have kept it like it is now (and like PI) with a big sweeper to help sort ppl out.. Not late braking from 300kph and a shrp turn. Its gunna be messy...

I agree. The approach is uphill but I would have thought the runoff needed to be longer? I dare say for track and ride days they wont use this part of the circuit :?

Still it does look good. The new Corner 2 is a double apex again and the 2nd last corner will be an awesome overtaking point as I dare say the best line to get onto the small straight will be v different to the overtaking / blocking line!

We could always hire a Dunnydore and have a crack at the "drift" bowl

shame they are loosing a big first corner sweeoer... thats what makes PI and EC so good....

otherwise the layouts looks pretty good to me... dont wanna do the club layout tho i would want to the the "national" or "corporate" track i wonder if this means national series wont run the same as possible international series....

and do we think this means EC is pushing for either SBK or MGP???

That is a F1 requirement, something about slowing the speed down.

I seriously doubt this will get anywhere in a hurry. The ardc have been pushing for a track upgrade for sometime now and the government hasn't been interested. There were plans originally to take the track up past 12 but no cash. I can not see that changing in hurry especially if they are going to drop the best part a 100 million on homebush to hold street race there.

you said it.they are  dinner plate corners - meaning your eyes look like dinner plates goin in!

turn 1 is gonna be nessy alright, 300km into a hairpin??!!!
perhaps the new 'turn 2'? which we all know can seriously fu(ked up during track or race days
