Does anyone have or previously used saddle bags? if so.......any advice and/or recommendations please.
I am thinking of Motodry sports sadlebags.
http://www.motonational.com.au/product_ ... p?pid=1100
They seems big enough and designed for sports bikes, which of course suit me and I know Tanya's shop has them in stock (or did two weeks ago) so easy enough to get hold of.
However I've never used saddle bags so any informaton, advice, tips etc would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I was told you're at Pro Yammy at Slacks creek (down the road from Honda).. is that right? If so thats where I bought my motodry tank bag and big motodry rack bag from the accessories dept, back in Nov last year.
If I have the wrong dealership you're at, sorry I got fed the wrong info.

We've got 2 sets of Bikeman Twins. Mrs loves them, and uses them for normal luggage more often than not. Quality is good and they can hold heaps.

I had a couple of sets of those, they are pretty good! I used them on my Ducati then destroyed them by melting one on my KTM, and my G/F uses them on her CBR600RR. There are probably better out there but for the price they are really good.
Whenever you use Saddle bags though always protect the paintwork with AT LEAST one layer of tape under the saddle bags! you'd be amazed how quick a bit of dust or grit under the bag can wear through your pristine paintwork with the vibration of the bag on it!

Once upon a time I new of an old bar lady known as saddle bags

Umm, slightly well used and has a good streched leathery appearance and would accomodate all riders needs (if you were stupid enough to get that plastered), but I suppose that really isnt what you were after huh

tape over yer paintwork is a must and be careful if you have a high mounted exhaust since if it touches it will melt the underside of the bag. J.
