Bike hit/run in brisbane

Just heard on the radio... motorcyclist hit by a silver "early style four wheel drive or large station wagon" and left for dead on the road, early this morning.
Apparently in hospital with critical injuries.
Driver had better hope they don't catch him, or he'll get a week in jail and a fine of $3.25.

Accidents everywhere today, 1 fatal in 8 mile plains. Traffic was farked!!

heard about the hit and run... not good... Hope the rider pulls through.
Notice if a motorbike is involved and definately not our fault the press don't say much.. they wont blame the car driver or anything in the news, they just say hit and run at yada yada..... if they can even pin a minor thing on the bike rider, the news will say "hit and run today involving a car and bike... how ever it's believed the bike was speeding, swirving in & out of traffic, only riding on one wheel and the rider was drunk. The poor car driver was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and left the scene due to fear...." it's sad and wrong.
As for the gateway accident... got stuck in that today.. what a mess. 20mins to travel 300ms. wow.. and a mother was killed, her two boys seriously injured and the daughter uninjured. got cleaned up by a truck.
