After Dru's off the other day, and the talk in a recent topic about first aid, I went looking to see if I could find a site with comprehensive information about bike accidents.
Apologies to those that have already seen this:

nice one Jase
its long
but having had 1st hand experience in this

its pretty accurate
based on watching the medicos work on my missus
(and me)
its a lot to remember
but the best bit it does is recommend a CPR/First Aid course
only bitch I have is....
it says more than 50% of bike accidents are alcohol related
maybe in the yewessofay, but
I would suggest that does not apply in Australia...

Maybe group members should be aware of anybody who has done first aid training in there group/state. Especially if there is an accident and there is back/spinal damage.
Just a thought.

Interesting info - particularly the helmet removal procedure, I always wondered how you'd do that, if necessary.
Someone should make a riding jacket with some emergency instructions written across the front!
Cheers,
Danny
