Took some more Xrays of the leg last week.

I'm going to have some fun at the airports

Ankle will be in a cast for another 5 weeks and then we'll see how i go. (Rehab-Physio etc )
Stupid doctors keep giving me negative progs so i've got to stay positive and hope for the best.

damn dude! that looks more like a mechano set than an ankle! Hope it all heals up pretty well.

In my experience doctors will always give you the worst news possible if they are uncertain about the recovery. They rather give you bad news and have it turn out better than give you false hope.

When my son was in hospital from an infection to the hip joint, they said that he would have to learn how to crawl again and it would be years before he was walking. (this was 4-5 months ago and he is only just turned 1)
He was crawling the day after the surgery and has started to walk around his birthday. So i wouldn't listen to their prognoses, its usually negative so they can cover they own asses from giving you false hope and then you suing them later.

Hope the recovery is a short and simple one man

Impressive hardware there, though I can tell you it'll depend on the sensitivity of the sensors at the airport as to whether you'll set them off. I was dissappointed/surprised that my femural nail didn't set any of on a trip to the states.
