Bike control ?

One of my uncles used to ride trials bikes, one new years party in the old family farm house he rode up the steps, wheelied around the main hall for a bit then tried to ride down the long hallway on the back wheel. To this very day there is still a semi-circular tyre mark halfway down where he didn't make it...
