Hope this hasn't been mentioned before.
Found this in the latest ACM News. What a great program!
Look at the price!
It appears to be similar to a couple of courses I have already done, but for $45 I am enrolling anyway.
Will let you know how it goes.

Thanks Tanya- waiting for them to get back to me on a date. I am sure they will be booked out a while in advance for that price!

Yeah I've done the HART courses you mention. They are pretty decent but don't necessarily cover as much material (specifically bike care and setup - but I could be mistaken). They are also a lot more expensive, but worth it. I know that my emergency braking skills and quick swerve and so forth are starting to get real rusty, so I'm contemplating whether I can afford to do another one, or whether I should just find a quiet industrial area and hope some smart cookie doesn't try and book me for dangerous driving or something.

Great find BM! I just called them for details:
Advanced 1 course - for riders who've been licenced for 12 months or more - next available course is August 9th or 10th.
Advanced 2 course - for riders who've been licenced for 5 years or more - next available course is June 29th.
They prefer riders to be on an open licence, but RE licences are okay so long as the rider can keep up with 100km/h speeds, so as to not slow the group down.
Mrs Tree and I have been riding for less than 5 years, so we're doing the Ad1 course. Due to other commitments on August 9th/10th, I've booked us in for September 27th.

Guys, I did the advanced course.. the only difference is the roads they take you on.. and the *advanced* roads are ones we do on a south ride anyway
Just tell them how many times you've done springbrook Mr Tree, and you're definitely quicker than me so you'd be fine..
Just don't forget anyone
It's not a braking and cornering course, it's a road awareness course. It's designed to show you how to be more aware of your surroundings and conditions on the road.

Quicker than you? Nah, just crazier pehaps. Besides, I was behind you on the last south ride; the view's better...
...I love that 190 rear with the fender eliminator.
I wasn't really expecting much for $45. If I come out of it knowing more than when I went in, I'm happy.
Mrs Tree will be on her own bike, so no leaving anyone behind. I was surprised to read, though, that they do allow you bring a pillion if you normally ride with one.
