Anyone know of some wreckers in sydney that do late model kawasakis?

I lost a fairing bolt on my ZX6R and Aitkens want $7 for the rubber bung on and $4 for the bolt!

Or can anyone point me in the direction of an aftermarket bolt set? some blue adonised ones or matte black bolts would look pretty schmick i reckon 8)

Aftermarket bolt kits are a rip, get the sizes and go to your local bolt supplier, I paid $56 or something like that for a shitload of stainless allen key dome head bolts, nylon and stainless washers. Got more than I'd get in a fairing kit from the UK and for cheaper too. Took me maybe an hour to work out what I needed from Kawa's online parts diagrams, but I'm pretty sure I've got everything right, won't be able to tell until I put the thing together again though.

As far as your genuine bits they could be shared with lots of other bikes, ronayers.com has a reverse part number lookup, someone might have one in their shed off another bike.

I have had a look at the microfiche for the 99 ZX6R and the nuts that the bolts seem to screw into are the same

Part # 92015 92015-1757 NUT,WELL,5MM

You wouldnt be able to have a dig around and see if you have any?

I'll have a look and let you know. Shaggers Ridge is right along side of fornication heights, just turn left. :D Shaggers Ridge otherwise known as Rooty Hill, If they are the same I'll bring to Eastern Creek with me on Sat and you can collect them from there.
