ST George Bank Dramas when Paying

Hey guys, went and paid for my shirt today at St George. When I asked to put my username down as a reference for David I was told that I could not put letters or words in, only numbers. I put my mobile ph # in so if you don't know who's it is please give me a call.

Mate Im sure dave will be in contact, I have already passed on some details from some other members stating the same problem & it seems the mobile number is the best answer

Westpac said same thing when i was paying for my ksrc number plate holder,all worked out just let whoever know didgits..gotta wonder though in this day and age,we can send an unmanned spaceship to mars and land a remote controlled rover,but you cant put letters on a payment detail....

I'm with St G. Paid mine online and have always been able to leave whatever message I like on there. So why the heck can we do it at home but they can't do it at the bank???
