I've seen a few bikes with BLUE Led Lights, sitting either side of the headlight, they make visibilty that much better. Does anyone know where I can purchase any, I've tried a few places without luck.
Cheers

Hi Spec, welcome to the club
were you told you that these lights will make you more visible? sounds more like bling than a visibility thing

Yeah I was on the motorway a few nights back and you could pick the bike up coming the other way fairly easily and I thought it may make life a bit easier on the roads of a night.

Wouldn't that cause havoc on the roads with cars pulling over thinking that its a cop behind them

Also on that... apparently have blue or red led lights may get you pulled over by the cops, my brother was pulled over quite a couple of times (on his car tho') because he had blue leds on his windscreen spray nozzle. Was told by a cop that pulled him and did an inspection that red or blue colors are a no go....
This was a while back, so I dunno if it still stands or if the cop was just bsing around....

No worries guys thanks for your opinions, I suppose you're right with the blue lights and the cops, that's the last thing you need and yeah there's enough cars pulling over. Had one the other day looking at a street directory doing about 80k along Southern Cross Drive and decided to change lanes.
Anyway cheers again for you help.

Yes blue ones cost me a $75 ticket in NSW. and a defect. I run the white LEDS now which look kinda bluish anyhow and they are legal. Got them from Jaycar....

Oh yeah if ya ever get wheeled by the RTA guys never mention their pink lights....I was told very sternly they are magenta...gees touchy
