Birth of a Racer

On Discovery Channel tonight from 7:30 - 9:30 is a documentary called Birth of a Racer, about the Motoczysz bike privately built to run in MotoGP. Well worth watching if you get a chance (and have Foxtel)
Birth of a Racer:
Do you think it's possible for a modern-day visionary with no engineering background to create a completely new motorcycle? One that is lighter, more manoeuvrable and more technologically evolved than the big manufacturers' multi-million dollar MotoGP bikes?
'Birth of a Racer' is the true story of one man and his team of maverick engineers from around the world in their quest to build a motorcycle unlike any other in existence. This man, these professionals, and this goal are uncommon. Their road is a difficult and arduous – and maybe even impossible – one to travel. Michael Czysz is a maverick with a dream. But Michael's dream has to become reality before he either runs out of money or kills himself riding the bike on the test track.
