mmmmm I was down at KHQ last night doing some signage for KRT & I got to spy 2 of the new baby ninjas (black & red)
Forget the red one as its a Hooonda colour the black one looked awsome & if I had my learner days over again this would be the weapon of choice
The quality of finish is excellent & the design really belends well with the current crop of Kwaka sports bikes (had an 08 ZX10 next to them for comparison)
I still think a double disk set up would be good but hey it probably saves you a few bucks The bars look to be similar to the GPX & are quite wide & the fuel tank looks bulkier in width similar to larger capacity bikes. There seems to be allot of room in front of the rear tyre suggesting a longer swingarm but I could be wrong as the rear of the bike has a verry clean & uncluttered look about it.
Overall I think its a sure winner, even with the change over to LAMS the 250 lives on

Doesn't make much sense why they would go backwards? My old 1991 ZX2R had double discs

the new 250 looks awesome but i wish they bought the green one over we only get red and black

they should of made twin disks and a bit more power but oh well still a great learner bike

Just spoke to Flywheels... Should br riding out Monday arvo )) Albeit will get the rear fender changed back to the original part or a home repair job

What is the point of twin discs on a 32 HP 250? It's heavy enough already. Discs and calipers are not light. The brakes don't fade and are strong enough to lock up the front, job done. Is it all about fashion? Perhaps the ricey car scene is more appropriate.

Hey Rob thats good news mate
The rear fender on the new 250 is a shocker it is half the height of the bike & tapers to nothing is the most ugliest part on the bike & would require a fenderectomy immediatly to avoid being laughed at not just by your mates .... i reckon the girls would have a go at you too

just cause your gxp dun av em lolz on my zxr i notice the difference in braking between that and my mates cbr250r with single disk the twin disks help stopping distance and ruduce amount of pressure u need to brake i reckon

and the new baby ninja looks sex goin to try and get my sister on one hehe

my sister wants to start riding too i'll try to get her to have a look at the ninja 250

I think Ill be looking for a fender eliminator the day I get it home... Any suggestions anyone? Just looks terrible!

wont be legal as far as ADR's apply as thets the reason they are there ... to comply with minium standards.

Or do you mean is CW legit?

& Mig I have had both a single disk & Dual disk 250's on the track before & there is a huge difference in "Braking time" without lock up but admittedly on the road its a diferent kettle, but the fact that you can pull up quicker would give this little black duck more confidence while dodging cages

Side note the weight of disk & caliper = <4kg 2 weeks of heavy exercise would knock that off, time to start training again
