Funny Story - JUST TO CLARIFY - un-named shop in story below is NOT Flywheels.


i'd recently been looking into pipes for my 07 Z1, when i had a call
from the dealer i bought my bike telling me he had a great deal on micron pipes... cheap..

I say ok, i've got a different picture saved on my pc of a 07 Z1000 with almost every pipe available for it (i'm pretty thorough with the
research) to see which i like the look of the best... and .... no microns..

Have a look on microns uk site... no pipes for the 07 Z1, ...ok so this guy at the dealer must know something i don't..
i email the importer of micron to aus.. and nope no microns for the 07 Z1 yet..

ahh... WHAT THE! this guy was trying to convince me to buy pipes that don't actually fit my model of bike ...
can't imagine what a dodgy job the service department would have done with a huge hammer to try and make these pipes fit my ride!

gezzzz manzz you'd think a guy that works all day every day with Kawasaki models pretty much exclusively would know his shit!

go in and ask him directly. He might be on to something ? He could have fucked up as well, wouldn't be the first time a dealer got a bit excited about selling something.....

That arrow exhaust on the Z1 is a photoshop job...

the real arrow pipes for the 07/08 Z1 look nothing like that.
