After 18 years of drying out, every single peice of rubber will be farked and in need of replacement. Imagine having to strip that new motor just replace things like oil seals and O-rings.

Best bet would be to build it dry and mount it in a glass display case - what a waste of a great motorcycle.

An Evinrude or Johnson outboard motor. Going by the size of the box probably a V6. When OMC went broke some motors were sold in unopened boxes.He may have got the bike in a similar way ?
