Bikers banned from Parramatta pubs.

From the Parramatta advertiser...

"Bikies wearing their club colours will be banned from all Parramatta pubs in a move set to spread
across Sydney. Parramatta hotels are leading the way in the ban on bikies in full regalia, backed
by the police and the NSW Licensing Court.
The Royal Oak Hotel was the first Parramatta Hotel to have ban written into its licence.
Other pubs are following with amendments to their licences.
The Royal Oak's new management is hoping to "change its demographic", according to
licensee Troy Williams. The Royal Oak was the first hotel to test the case in the Licensing Court
in December. The ban has come out of intense negotiations between police and licensees over the
past three months as part of the Parramatta Liquor Accord.
It follows concern over growing bikie crime as well as pub patrons discomfort when club members
in full regalia are present. Police have been pleased with the co-operation of licences.
The ban means licences can call on police to evict members of outlaw motorcycle gangs wearing
colours regardless of whether they are causing trouble.
The Royal Oak has already erected signs spelling out the ban on members of 19 bikie clubs.
A police spokesperson said"before the back-up of the licence condition, evicted bikies could just
move on to the next pub. Now the licence has the back-up of police and the onus is not on the pub."
the spokesman said. Apart from the fear over bikies behaviour, other patrons had stopped going
to hotels with a reputed high bikie presence.
The Advertisers understands neighbouring police commands have shown interest in the Parramatta
interactive.
Members of the following bikie gangs take note you are no longer welcome in Parramatta pubs if
you want to wear your club colours.
The specific ban relates to groups that look intimidating or have been linked with crime.
They are The Bandidos,The black Ulans, Coffin Cheaters, Comancheros,Finks,Fourth Reich,
Gladiators,Gypsey Jokers, KSRC, Highway 61, Life and Death, Lone Wolf, Mobshitters, Nomads,
Odins Warriers, Outcasts,Outlaws, Phoenix and Rebels.
The ban includes anyone wearing badges, insignias or jewellery identifying any of the above groups.

Didn't you try this last year?
If Hoffy is representative of the KSRC Sydney Hot Chocolate Crew I dare say that the Coffin cheaters and the Ulans don't have much to fear from the Handbag Carrying Callgirl.
As for his colors. I'm sure he has a patch with the colors of the rainbow sewn across his back - and proudly displayed upon his Vespa!

I presume the Royal Oak is the one in North Parramatta ie the one known as "the bikie pub". Used to live up the road from it when I was a wee laddy of 18 and we never went near it because of the dickhead bikies (who incidentally weren't as big a bunch of dickheads back then) so I can only imagine what it would be like these days.

Good on him, make life hard for the tossers, although no doubt he'll lose out because the dipshits will put a truck through it or something similar

OK pal now you've crossed the line, hanging shit on Hoffy is one thing (hell if we didn't have that we'd have nothing to talk about) but leave the rest of us out of it alright. Now where can I get a good latte at this time of the morning

It looks as though you Sydney siders have been upsetting the locals......banned from a pub.

I don't think it gets any worse than that.

Just in case you didn't read my previous post, I added KSRC to the list... we weren't actually on there.. ;)

All the pubs in Sydney love KSRC, we are great for there bottom line.... :-)

Anyway, theres some interesting posts floating around on the MCCoNSW board, theres some concern that this could flow on to any motorcyclists... You turn up with leathers and a helmet, the bouncer thinks your a bikie, or doesn't care, and your banned.?
The question is, is this fair.. ?
Does being a member of a bikie club mean you shouldn't be allowed in certain places.? is this discrimination.?
Or is it you reap what you sow and the 1%ers have brought this on themselves.. If so should they all suffer the consequences..?

Surely 99 percent of the people would'nt have a problem with KSRC turning up at a pub for a drink, they must only be targeting the intimidating element of bikies.
