I legally can't ride my bike and that friggin sucks, so i'm gonna give B kwaka a call tomorrow I guess and if still no paperwork get a refund ad head elsewhere for my paper I guess... not fuggin happy Jan!

And I'm sure they'll be charging you for this "service" as well? Sounds pretty farked up to me, like they can't go and get some bloody forms?

Rang Brighton today to book in Micks old bike for RWC this coming weekend. They are apparently having problems getting hold of the forms due to the government agency what issues them ------- None available.
Rob want to put in a tender for printing?
Hang tight Mick it's not their fault just the government fucking you around again. On the plus side I just paid the rego on the 600 so your welcome to come grab it again

I'll look after the 9 for ya in the meantime

tender ....phffft ...... well considering a heap of govt printing is done offsore these days

i would not bother
Mick is it worth trying to track down paperwork from another place ..... remembering there are heaps of car places that will do bikes too........ Is the paperwork store specific there? or just a generic form? cause someone out there should have some

Talked to the bloke that works on my car occassionally, he seemed to think I can only use their forms... cos I thought I could just go to some car mecvhanic and borrow a form but alas not it seems.

that sounds about right, just like infringement notices the pinkslips would be individually numbered and each book of notices is assigned to an individual (the guy that is rta/vicroads registered for writing pink/blue slips) and cant be interchanged. At least that is how i interpret it.
Chase them up, find out just how long they suspect it'll take before they'll get new forms in. Give them until Thursday noon, have an appointment for another person to do the pinkslip as near as you can get to them at 1:00pm and tell them tomorrow that if they don't have a pinkslip done by midday on Thursday your taking your bike elsewhere to get it registered as they have now had it for a full week to do it, which is more than reasonable, given that i imagine they should be able to go to vicroads and get a new book issued on the spot (that and getting down to less than 25 forms left and not having a new book is pretty pisspoor form imho).
They may have done the roadworthy inspection but it doesn't count for jack if they haven't got the paper to write it on. At least that's what i'd do if i was being mucked about.
