Saw this ad.

Dunno what the owner is on about in the ad- chipped? Dunno of any injected 9rs.....
What I found funny is the owners ebay id...guess they're honest.

I think the translation might be that it has had a big bore and the ECU has been modified to reduce the redline (?) due to larger reciprocating mass of the larger pistons, maybe.
I don't believe it is possible to bore the cylinders out beyond 990cc either - there just isn't the material available.
Even with big bore done I think its overpriced. Its a bike with a market value of $5000 and the engine work would have been in the order of 2 - 2.5k.

Maybe it's the same guy that rang work the other day and asked for a power commander for a zx9..
and when I told him his bike was carbied, said oh.. how about a jet kit...

Sometimes people get powercommanders confused with flo-commanders. I've got a flo-commander on the ZZR.

Might save them buying a jet kit.

FLO-commander huh?
Unsure I am.
The link above just shows pics of tubing attatched to carbs. No explanation of how they work, or why.
Would seem easier to fit a dynojet kit than plumb all those dodgey airlines. Every connection adds a possible fault / problem with leaks. Seems overcomplicated.

Works for me. Had it for nearly 4 years now and no leaks. Easy fitment and no pulling carbs for rejet. If I change pipes from stock to Staintunes or the other way around, it's half a turn on the FC knob and it's done. It's designed so if a fault does occur the bike cannot lean out. Ray from easyrider imports (on this site sometimes) sold me mine.
