Is this a new store?
I know of Brighton Kawasaki and Peter Stevens doing the green machines, but this looks like a great big shiney new dealership on Maroondah Highway.
I always thought there needed to be a "better" dealer in Ringwood than Peter Stevens.....

It's a fairly new branch of the one over in Ferntree Gully.. whatsitcalled?
Not sure if it's better than Peter Stevens, I go there for oil n stuff but the staff are a bit lackluster.
It's always really quiet too so dunno if it's going to last.

Dunno bout that smitty.
I like the Ferntree Gully store..
got a few bits and peices done in the workshop there and they were good, not quite up there with Brighton but better than many others!
The sales guys are really good.
Lucas is also a fan of the place.
The reason I go to the Ringwood store even though the place has no soul is cos it's a Floyd Parkes.

Nikos
my brother wants to firebomb FP after they pharked his GPx2fiddy during a service
like.....LOOSE FRONT WHEEL AND BRAKES after a tyre/pad change

and when he confronted them (after I tightened everything up) they told him
' the front wheel wobbling all over the place and the bike won't stop?' ...couldn't be us
you might be ok..but from memory there are others here who have reported not nice dealings
with these guys
mind you..anyone has to be better than PS

FP didn't want to sell me the 05 ZX10 I bought, so I went to Brighton and Ken was more than willing to do a deal....

While spares, accessories and bikes sales are fantastic to deal with, I would be loathe to recommend the tyre joint whilst ever Laurie is there. Long story short, rather than admit that he had fcuked up balancing my wheels, he removed and refitted a new tyre claiming it was out of round! Now, I couldn't for the life of me detect any runout while it was spinning, but I did notice the wheel weights he had stuck on were oscillating around the bottom of the balancer!!! To me, the dumb, unskilled layman with only 20 years experience in this trade, thought it had about 15 or more gms too much weight on it!!! Even after he spent another 15 minutes rebalancing it, he still got it wrong!! I removed the wheels and took them over to a mates place and rebalanced them myself!! And the rear was out by 10 and the front by 15!!!!!! He is an idiot!

G'day All,
Think it's been there 6 + months now
Looked at a new bike there and couldn’t buy a cruiser.
I bought my bike from Floyds in the Gully but the guy I dealt with is no longer .......... all the original spanner turners are gone but the owner and his wife are outstanding people
Horses for courses just like I bought a helmet for the girlfriend’s son from race rep great to deal with......... Chris was away with a broken arm talk to his cousin top bloke
I work on a good bloke theory ......... if there a prick then doesn’t matter how good or cheap they are........ They don’t get my money
Cheers all have a great Xmas hope to get a couple of rides in over the holidays catch up
