Well you know those rear brake reservoirs really are quite heavy. Think of the weight savings...

So you've ordered one for the 7 no doubt?

weight saving is much better than brakes you know..

I think you've got it all wrong - the hose is worth bugger all...

What is so expensive it the genuine, rare as rocking horse poo, don't find these in any hardware store - Jubilee Clamp.

The reason it is pricey is the hose, or rather the construction of the hose.

Normal clear tubing will not withstand having brake fluid in it. The hose will go from being nice and clear to cloudy and shit looking.
Places like Extreme Creations in Sydney sell the non-hydroscopic hose for about $3.50 an inch, so when you add up you need about 6 to 7 inches plus a hose clamp and a bumg for the top this kit at $30 is good value. That why i bought one of these off ebay. Its been on the bike for over 18 Months no dramas.

Just leave a gap at the top between the fluid and the cap as the fluid level will move up slightly when the pedal is presses.
