Kawasaki Sportsbike Riders Club - Australia - Online Forum

Hi there, I'm looking for a blue Kawasaki ZX9R (or a similar looking model to this) and preferably a rider as well(!) for a TV shoot on Wed 21st of November (afternoon) for about 6 hours in Redfern. Well, I guess the only way to really find out for anyone interested is to make contact with the actual poster and determine if the business is actually legitimate and what is actually wanted or required? I mean, if they intend to meet you at the Sydney Central Police station accompanied by Sgt Johnson from Traffic it may not be an issue. Or maybe........it's a dastardly plot to remove your pride and joy from your posession!

Just organise a meeting with the dude, and then front up with the 3 or 4 mates.......if its legit, no worries. If not, I doubt they would try anything with a pack of home-boys hanging around ?? Break out the old cut-off, so you got some cred !!

it definitely is bullshit... why would you need to be so specific in requesting a 'blue ZX9R'
and why would you not offer any sort of monotary incentive? or even provide more detail about what
possible business you had with someone else's motorbike.

could be legit if you've got a blue one and live sydney side.....email him.....get the dope on the deal........this is all pure conjecture/paranoia and fun to read........madcaw and gos are on it with their posts and if it is for REAL THERE IS USUALLY A FAIR BIT OF $$$$$ involved with movies and advertising...........sound the sucker out........cost you naught

Based on the bike description, colour and location I wonder if it doesn't have something to do with re-creating a fatal hit-and-run accident that happened a few months back.
