Nick at Flywheels M/C (KSRC Sponsor) in Alexandria, Sydney is looking into doing a special deal to KSRC members on the 08 ZX10r.
If he can get enough interest he can offer a group buy special price.
This offer is open to members in all states, rego and delivery will have to be sorted so post up any questions and I'm sure Nick will do his best to answer them.
To put the package together an idea of numbers is required so post below if you are interested.

I thought margins on bikes were tight and selling prices to the publics are dictated by the factory for a period of time. So not sure how you will get a group buy discount, maybe on all the aftermarket exhausts! I could be speaking out my a$$ though.

just like the stubby holders, you buy one off him, park it in his driveway for 1/2 hr and he wheels it back into his garage and sells it to someone else while your pissed and wondering where you left your bike.

so being in need of a bike and all, ya buy anther one, but get tempted into the 6 for $100,000 deal.. AGAIN!

Margins on new bikes are tight but any rebates are entirely at the discretion of the retailer. The reason that few dealerships are willing to negotiate is that there is no reason to do it when the bike is first released. Everybody wants one and there are people willing to pay that money to get one so it would be foolish to give them away. The other factor is availability, with such limited numbers in the first few shipments it can be difficult to replace the unit for some months. It is normally in this period that people who are willing to pay full retail can't get a bike because they have been sold at a discounted price so they go to another dealership and we lose money and a client. There are also other factors like other manufacturers discounting their new models which we have to compete against. It's a frustrating business!!!!!!!!
As we are a KSRC sponsor however, and everyone I have met has been great, we are willing to offer the following:
5 x ZX10's - $500 off retail per unit
10 x ZX10's - $800 off retail per unit
10 + units - By further negotiation
This offer is open to members and their families ONLY and you will NOT get this deal from anybody else I would almost bet my left testicle on it.
These prices are with no trade-in however and must be paid in full before the bikes arrive (We get a discount for cash which makes this deal possible)
If you have a bike to trade, we will happily put it on consignment and we already have people wanting '05 models in particular.
You will also receive the usual 10% rebate on service, spares and accessories for a 12 month period.
