*PICS ADDED* I WON! I finally won a Superbike race!

Just got back from the track. Report and pics will come later but I just had to get this news out lol.
Anyway I have never ridden anywhere near that hard in my life, I was just pushing like crazy. It was the C/D grade Superbike class (plus some 600s), there was like 17 bikes in the field, and some of the guys are really fast. But after finally puttting new oil in my forks after blowing a seal last time out, I could finally push the front with confidence. So in todays first race I just went for it. I knew I could run really fast if I could get out in front, and I was starting from second on the grid after getting just one good qualifying lap without traffic.
After a pretty good start in this morning's race I got into the lead coming out of the second corner and went as hard as possible. I nearly high-sided a few corners later but luckily held on to it, and anyway I started pulling away from the field after the first couple of laps, and ended up 6 seconds in front by lap 8 or 9 when the race was red flagged. Just leading a race for the first time felt full on, but winning it was just awesome, and totally addictive. It was also a bit of a relief because I just wanted it so bad coming into this weekend. My best lap (1:05.7) was a whole second faster than second place, and less than one second off the lap record at the time. The lap record is now 1:04.3 though. It was also 3 seconds faster than my previous best before this weekend!
Then in the afternoon race (8 laps) I did the same thing! I got into the lead on turn 4 this time, and then tried to break away. It was a bit harder this time, I was pushing harder and sliding and headshaking everywhere, but was 3 tenths off my new PB, and the other guys were going really hard trying to keep up. But I pulled a 3 second gap by the end, and grabbed my second win, and the round win. Man racing is good fun! My lap times over the weekend would have had me well in the top 5 of the A/B grade races too, I have really found a good rythym now.
Anyway thanks to everyone here who has supported me and helped me out at race meetings, you guys are awesome. I need to get some sleep now coz I have had hardly any for quite a few days..... Full report will be late, and long!
