Road Rage

I'm certainly not an advocate of it, but I was just wondering, what do ppl do to dickHeads on the road?
I used (key word= "USED") to do silly things as a young lad......
Like i had a spark plug taped to the fairing up within easy reach of my left hand. Then if an idiot did anything stupid enough, I'd get in front of him and let the plug fly... does wonders to a windshield at speed. (I actually never did this, but had friends that did)
But uh, now-a-days, the worst is boot to door or kevlar knuckles to windows, but mainly horn and shaking head in disgust.... gotta try and be sensible and be a positive ambassador of the motorcyling community.....
so, anyone else have "ways" of dealing with dumbasses on the roads??? my wife thinks i'm nuts, but i think that you have to let people know what they have done wrong so that they don't do it again (or to a worse degree

)

I've done the whole boot to door, mirror removal, drag driver out through window bit. (back when i was a youngun

) but these days i can honestly say that all the agro i once had really improved the roads.......<--sarcasm
These days i just get agitated, grin and bear it. But having said that annoy me enough or try to kill me as the idjit did the other week and i will have a temper spit BIG time.

I don't do anything really except maybe shake my head and give the evil eyes which is always fun. Im seriously too scared to do anything incase they won't to do something worse back. I know they can't really catch me, especially on the bike Im on if they are in a cage but I don't live in a big city so people tend to recognise you and remember it. I don't want them reporting me to the local coppers who already know me by first name! I know of a few people who kick off peoples mirrors and stuff like that, nothing too harmful though.

Well i am working on "my road rage issue", Being a little aggressive by nature n not tolerating idjits very well, i have easily been provoked by dickheads in the past (like 15mins ago), but now I am becoming more tolerant of my Bretheren of the Bitumen & just come to accept the Fact that Queenslanders DRIVE LIKE SHIT, we are all getting along much better.
I blame the law makers & Coppers up here for the Fact that lots of Qld road users think "a roundabout is a kids ride that has horses on poles" & that the right lane is ok as long as your in top gear "flat out at 50ks but i'm in top gear officer" as for merging OMFG "dont accelrate down the on ramp Ethel they are may be going fast out there". wow this is rant like hey ?.
Anyway i overtake on the right hand side of the right lane .... "dont try this at home kids" i know its bad but as an off duty copper told me a few years back after i Brakechecked him (haha) & he caught me & tore me a new one(haha). Use the performance of the bike to get into space, people dont obey the rules because we dont have the resources to enforce them.
Safest place for a Qld car driver is 300m behind me.
Cheers Brett

Generally just shake the head, or give the finger and let them know i'm not happy.
Will kick mirror's off. Don't use it, lose it. but in my case, be a cant and lose it. I don't understand these people who cut you off on purpose. You can tell what they are doing, it's so obvious.
I'm getting better with age.

Road rage is a non-issue. People who are stupid enough to engage in it deserve what they get. A simple hand out to say "what are ya doin?", a shake of the head or something is all thats needed. Driver sees you're not happy with what he did and gets the message. Going overboard like damaging peoples cars you're asking for them to come after you and simply run you off the road. Unless you're on a highway can be difficult to get away from someone who wants to kill you.
I understand cars don't always see us and cut us off (though its only happened occasionally to me) but what do you expect to acheive by flying off the handle? Have a stern word to them at the next set of lights, or previously said gestures.
Also, we've got to accept that we aren't the most visible vehicle on the road. Think back to driver's ed and think to yourself (am I doing everything I can to make sure I'm visible?). Its all about road posistioning, and whilst its irritating we have to go to such lengths, its something you take on board when you decide to become a motorcyclist.

if people would only give a wave whenthey r let into the flow it would be alot better 2 . the next time u merge in & that dikhead is goin 2 sit right up ur ass, cause u kno that they r goin 2 even b4 u hit the indicator, give them a wave 2 say thanx 4 letting me in u cocksucking fukwit.......now i said wave NOT the finger, & u'll b surprised at how many of them actually drop back then & give u room...they dont have 2 kno that ur really calling them by the real names they should have been given at birth

hmm i dont do the mirror thing, i tend to pull up beside them at next
stop/lights & either tap the mirror & yell "its there for a fukkin reason",
or yell "thanks for cutting me off ya wanka"...gets the point across..even
"ur farkin eyes painted on" works...ive had 2 kick a car twice (in sydney)
so i didnt get run down, but that was last resort...another one is wen u see
em merging u reach out & knock on their window...ive done this 2 a few cars
& 1 old bugger shit himself & nearly ran off the road...but i try to avoid
this shit hapnin by anticipating them....

i love road rage....
one time a bloke was pissed with my driving cos i was doing the speed limit over the westgate bridge. He drove past screaming for me to pull over. i had my brother in the car and he's about the same size just skinner. i told my brother when we get out we'll run towards the guys car.
when we did i've never seen somebody jump in the car and drive off so quickly.....
