just renewed the rego on the 10

Goddam they dont miss us whippersnappers!!!
$693 for a greenshlip!
i did it all online (except the inspection, which may aswell have been online
)
the inspection dude bungs the slip online,
i set up my greenslip online, (nrma)
within 2 minutes (it told me at least 30) i go on rta website, its all there!
pay by dredit card and its all done!!
and all this ab 8pm!! sweet!
now i need a new tyre and a trackday
then lie low for bloody months till i can afford to poke my head out...

yeah i shopped around, used the maa site.
i remember when 1st started that maa site, all the prices were like 200 bucks cheaper and stuff.
now all within 5 bucks of each other.

Fark Wattie, just did mine $347CTP + Rego $160. Helps a bit that the wife works for a dealership and the green slip was a little cheaper(not much but it helped). Full price was $371.
I must come under the old fart pricing system

Just a hint with greenslips! I know of a few friendly car/bike dealers who will do the greenslip for you!!! It can often save you loads, as they for some reason, have a deal on greenslips!
Go get to know them a little and they may help you out!

Try Aon they seem cheapest at the moment!
Some of the quotes seem OK until you tell them the bike is over 1000cc
QBE $698 no negotiation, Aon $363 No problems.

NRMA wanted $670 for my 6R !!
Alliance through a bike dealer was only $420ish
although i'm in the young and stupid catagory

did the greeny for the rf a week ago and was up for 443, not THAT bad, but still about $20 more than it cost me last year.

its times like this I pray that the ACT will continue to have a Monopoly supplier of CTP insurance here for bikes......NRMA.
Total cost for 12 months rego down here on the 12 is about $460. That includes *everything*......(
even the porn and fireworks...)

bastard, cost me a further hundred or so for rego.
The car is going to cost me $350 for its ctp, and TWO HUNDRED for rego, i mean FFS it was only $127 36 months ago.

got both my rego's here....due..i can do 3/6/9/12 monthly here..and dont have to search for CTP (they give it to ya)..
Bike - $408 yr (3mth- $110)
Ute - $743 yr ($198 3mth)
