'05 ZX12R timing retarder

Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone ever figured out how to eliminate the factory retarder in the first three gears? Now my warranty's dead I'd love to know how to get rid of it.....

simple solution to get rid of the retarder......

There is a product called an xtasy power module which is supposed to do just what you want..
Here is a link to an ebay site.. What do you think of it ?? If you want to give it a crack let me know, i have one here never used and its yours for what ever you want to offer me.. :D

Thanks for that, I thought there were some wires that could be snipped. Don't really want to muck with mapping without dynoing which then means a PC111...... Etc, etc, etc......

There was an aussie ZX12 site, but I can't find it anymore. Can't find the American one either...... Anyone got the links?

I am surethis just goes inline.. You dont need to remap etc..

Let us know what you think of it Gos,

up2nogood, there is one. Its a G-Pack F'n Expensive about 350 from memory for 04-06 and the earlier models are around 550. These are supposed to remove every electronic restriction, and for that price they'd wanna shout the first round every time you stop at the pub. Look em up on EGay. ;)

consider it done......it should be pretty easy to tell the difference, you can switch these On/Off as required - Heh, I got wet-weather mapping !! The 12 is really a GP bike, just on steroids !!!!!
