basicly i cant move the grips up the 10mm required to slip these on the end of the bars.... due to the flat drag bars and the levers rubbing on the headlight shroud....

dont wanna hang em out the end of the bar as they stick out much further, look gay, and negate the need for my nice $70 oberon bar ends...

can see great up the side of the bike, cant see behind me tho...

going to see SA Dirties on thurs nite... sort me a set of renthals out!!

lmao what the hell happened mate? Get them off and put ur old ones back on. Thats the problem when you get too blingy, it starts to look gay coz you are going over board. Keep it plain and simple. thats the best imo.

They do look a bit odd - they're possibly marginally legal though. The requirement is that they show "the road behind and any following or overtaking vehicle"*, so I guess it depends how you define the road behind the motorcycle. The stock mirrors on my 6R give me a wonderful view of my shoulders and arms, a bit of the lanes either side, but bugger all directly behind, so your mirrors are probably at least as useful as mine.

Anyway, they're on there - depends on the bloke writing the ticket to decide whether they're legal or not. Be polite? :)

If I were you, I'd just point the mirrors towards my own face and enjoy the view.
Listening to you is like being bukkaked with stupid.

That's a bugger. I'm still waiting for mine to turn up from the states...slow boat I suspect. Luckily the Z has about 10mm extra bar at each end that I'm currently covering up with some crappy old bits of plastic that were already on there, and I can move them up or down the bars anyway. Then I'll be able to put some nicer bar ends on too.

Do you have any current pics of the bike online with all the current mods, just out of interest?
