Just got my green slip renewel notice from QBE.....$383.00
so i went to insuremyride......$141.70

And my comprehensive is $200 cheaper

Got car quotes through budget direct
Green slip $100 cheaper than AAMI
comp $100 cheaper

SAVED $540 on my car and bike.......

come again....you got a green slip for $141.00 WTF? is this true?

Sorry dude, but I think you might have confused 3rd party property damage insurance (which InsureMyRide.com.au offer) with compulsory 3rd party personal injury insurance (greenslip insurance) which is currently offered in NSW by:
AAMI
Allianz
CIC-Allianz
GIO
NRMA
QBE
Zurich

Got a quote from NRMA last night for my car's green slip
My current greenslip is with them and last year it was about $400 (roughly) - this year they want $650
ive had no accidents or anything - they just want more money i guess.

needless to say i will be shopping around....

and NRMA came back the cheapest for me at $325

im thinking the letter they sent me yesterday must of been in error.
either way looks like i can actually get a greenslip for the piece of Sh!t that i drive for under $400 so i will dry my eyes now

Dave's right Jewjew. Insuremyride don't do greenslips. I think you just insured your cycle for third party property damage.

thanks for the pick up guys, was really happy.....now just a little. I was wondering how they could escape the $140 dollar reverse over children fee.

BTW. They say it is to cover medical expense on people injured a car accidents for life...wtf is medicare for? If medicare wont cover it maybe they should stop syphoning funds out of it for gun buyback schemes and overseas aid. They could also put the funds from state lotteries back where they were supposed to be in the first place and cover hospitals and medical.

Thank god i haven't purchased it yet, oh well the comprehensive is better and cheaper than my current anyway

use to be a cool site sumwhere when i was in nsw... u put in ur details and it gave u the listed price of abt 8 greenslip mobs...and to back it up i called a few and it was right...i use to use it to save ringing around...

I found CIC-Allianz the cheapest, about $370, and they also cover the at-fault rider for medical etc, which I could have used last year !!
