yes, i spoke to jamie fresh from riding in a test at suzuka for the 8 hour race on todays show............
he did pretty well to, not that he's going to admit it

For anyone who has listened to the interview, I spoke to Jamie today - he got the call from Yamaha Japan yesterday, he WILL be Norick Abe's team mate in the up comming 8 hour

thats FANTASTIC news mate, he must be over the moon.
If the 8-Hr goes well (anything inside top 10), then you can bet your jewels that Jamie will be getting some further attention from the WSB crowd .......

I think he may be a bit old for a GP ride. But WSB is a whole different kettle of fish.....

Yeah it was a good show on Tuesday Phil. Unfortunately I lost reception just before the bloody end. Jamie talking about his first ride on the 07 R1 was good too, particularly the lap record line.
Quick question though. What was the song you played at 1/2 time. Sounded alright.

um no mate wrong fast jap guy, norick abe - not noriyuki haga
abe was the guy dicing with messers doohan and schwantz in the 94 500 gp race at suzuka.......so he's done a few laps around there

ahhh i got me jap riders confused i did!!
being that nitro rides a yam in WSBK i figured it was him....
